Kitchen and Cooking Safety for Seniors

  • Learn how to safely prepare foods
  • Learn about potential dangers in the kitchen and how to prevent accidents
  • Acquire the skills necessary to  respond to an emergency situation
  • Learn to operate appliances safely

  • This comprehensive training addresses all steps of the cooking process from hand washing to food preparation to safe clean up practices.  Participants will emerge as confidents chefs ready to safely prepare healthy food for the whole family and prevent kitchen fires, the number one cause of home fire related deaths.
