Disaster Volunteering Train the Trainer for Community-Based and Faith-Based Organizations

The spirit of volunteerism is often commonplace in faith-based and community-based organizations.

In the event of a local or regional emergency, many citizens will seek out volunteer opportunities within these organizations to assist in relief efforts.

World Cares Center’s Disaster Volunteering Train the Trainer for Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations provides faith and community leaders with knowledge of how to appropriately utilize these volunteers and how to prepare their congregants or community members to be effective volunteers.

in this training participants will:

Gain knowledge of how to prepare congregants and community members to be effective disaster volunteers
Become equipped with the tools to be a trainer for members of the community or congregation
