New Jersey Cleanup Efforts
In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Irene, World Cares Center (WCC) worked with NJ211, the NJ Governor’s Office for Volunteerism, and our nonprofit partners to ensure that New Jersey residents hit hardest by the storm and flooding received the help they needed. |

WCC continues to provide programs and training that reflect the spirit of collaboration and community empowerment. World Cares Center carries on the coordination between local groups, volunteers, and the national groups that so generously come into New Jersey to help our residents reclaim their lives and homes. We are members of the Long-Term Recovery Committees in five NJ Counties: Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris, and Somerset and assist communities across the state. World Cares Center is attending weekly meetings and strategizing the next step. |
