September Space Community Resiliency Center
World Cares Center Holiday Gathering and Toy Drive: A Celebration of September Space

Please join us for a holiday celebration and reflection on September Space's achievements. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Holiday Toy Drive for clean-up and recovery workers' children (participants of the Multicultural Initiative for Families). WCC will also introduce its Grassroots Readiness and Response Workshops for community groups.

Multicultural Initiative for Families: Health and Financial Services

Presentation on Mount Sinai’s WTC Medical Monitoring and Treatment Program, with Q&A to address client issues.

6:30pm-7:30pm
Immigration Coalition and Urban Justice will present the financial assistance for NYS healthcare law.

WCC will also introduce its Grassroots Readiness and Response Workshops for community groups.

Resources and Referrals Open House

Walk-in open house for clients: sign up for mental health services, obtain resources and referrals as needed, and say farewell to World Cares Center's September Space support programming. Graciously hosted by St. Mark's Place Institute. Refreshments will be served. StoryCorps will be conducting interviews with WTC workers and caregivers. All appointments are filled, but attendees are welcome to make future appointments. Toys from the Holiday Toy Drive will be distributed to client’s children. WCC will also introduce its Grassroots Readiness and Response Workshops for community groups.
