• Build decision making and problem solving skills and strategies that help make informed decisions regarding readiness, response, and recovery.
• Present their own emergency preparedness training to peers. 

• Youth Train the Trainer integrates academically-based lessons with realistic preparedness activities that create a comprehensive learning environment inspiring a spirit of leadership and community.  In addition to learning emergency preparedness skills, students will learn life skills, fufill community service requirements , give back to the community, build self-esteem, and earn the satisfaction that comes from helping others.
